country still remains a truly ethnic origin that the culture is not assimilated into the
culture of center.
Nowadays, Bru people in Ta - Long village have been developed in
various forms in public facility, preparation for the development of a cultural village,
accommodation for visitors to group the home stay, training children guides, training
in the development of food products, the weaving machines for sale to tourists. It is
said that the cultural capital leads toBru people are known and accepted in the society
better, and have a voice and bargaining power in the society, as well as, make a free
choice of their professionwhich canmakemoney for themselves and their lifemore.
Conclusion
Research on the reproduction of culture and education of ethnic groups in
Bru uses qualitative research in the field of Ethnography. The results of the study,
researchers have presented ideas on the subject named cultural capital of Bru, study
programs in school, hidden curriculums, power of the local education management,
and reproduction or transmission of knowledge to the children. The findings show that
the knowledge of the cultural capital of Bru’s students are divided into three
categories: 1) the curriculum in schools is knowledge of the academic program in
basic education. The knowledge is transmitted or reproduced to the children with
"teaching to do" and / or "leading to do" to make people be able to read, write,
calculate, and have a broader knowledge, as well as, have the ability to adapt and live
in the community and society. Authorities in study management consist of
government, school director and teachers 2) Curriculums in the community
are the
knowledge of life which have been inherited from their ancestors. The children can
make a living and live in the community. The reproduction of cultural capital with
"Showing to do" "Leading to do" and "Teaching by showing Learn by doing”.
