These findings demonstrate the importance of the knowledge or cultural
capital of Bru which include the educational knowledge and local knowledge.
Reproduction of cultural knowledge canmake people be able tomake a living together
with other people in the community. Especially in the school, there is the transmission
about reproduction in the form of various knowledge to the students. Nowadays, the
government increasingly focuses on local culture. As a result, the school is supported
to have language and culture conservation, including the Bru villagers are proud of
their identity, and courage them to be confident in expressing their identity in public
more than this.
Reproduction or transmission of cultural capital still exists through the
process of school education in the basic course of study and learning activities,
including the education of the community to learn from real life or called that
“Learning curriculum to community”.
Benefits from this research are the development of the educational process
of Bru to have high quality and more efficiency. It should be consistent with the
context of the community and being useful in real life. It is important that all involved
sectors, and have the power of education as follows: government, schools, temple,
community andmedia which need to cooperate in education from the vision until the
goal of education and practice. In addition to all parties, they should build good
relationships and understanding between them for reducing the gap of the conflict and
strengthening the communities to be sustainable.
