ABSTRACT
The purpose of this researchwas to create amodel of sustainablemanagement in
cultural tourism under the King’s sufficiency economy philosophy based on community in the
area of Tai community at Tam Lod village, Pangmapha district, Mae Hong Son province.
This research used Delphi technique by 15 specialists opinion total 3 times, the first time by
interview and then by questionnaire, that was analysis from those experts opinion total 89 items.
The analysis in the last time questionnaire byMedianmore than 3.50, Interquartile rang not over
1.50 andMean andMedian distinction not over 1.00 from each item. And the second group, who
is the population in Tam Lod village research by Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) with
opinionof 42persons.
The result of this research showed 15 experts gave the point of 4 elements is
community element, government element, policy element, and entrepreneur element to theKing’s
sufficiency economy philosophy. The expert pooled together in item of develop investment have
to do in step by step not more than community budgetMedian = 5.00, Interquartile range = 0.50,
Mean and Median distinction = 0.00. The second group interview that showed the people in
TamLod village to be cultural tourism attraction andwelcome tourist visit every season all year
but still in agriculture live. The model of sustainable management in cultural tourism under
the King’s sufficiency economy philosophy in Tam Lod village can classify in 4 period the first
period for to be sufficiency economy community, the second period formake a knowledge of Tai
cultural, the third to be develop of landscape and public utility, and the last community of tourism
by them self.
