Food consuming: The Thai-Kuoy people foods are the mixing food of Thai-Kuoy and
Thai-Lao and Thai-Krom. This research intended to compare the food changing in feature,
raw material, detail, ingredient, and how to cook. The result found that there are ten
kinds of food that are usually consume by Thai-Kuoy people include 1. Lab, Pla, Yum
and Sa which similar to mix salad with herb 2. Homok and Larm 3. dipping paste or
Nampreek and Pon 4. Soup or Tom 5. curry or Kaeng and Om 6. Tum or pulverized food
7. Koor or roast 8. Soup 9. deep fry 10. grill. The sweet that are trendy are the porridge
with banana and Sugar Palm cake, and the traditional drinks are coconut milk and
rosella juice.
The 2

objective of the study is to study the condition of culture change in Thai-Kuoy
people which divided into 4 part include 1. Food consist of 1.1 The objective of food
consuming, 1.2 Type of food, 1.3 Ingredients or raw material and seasoning, 1.4 the
taste. 2. How to cook consist of 2.1 to obtain and prepare ingredients and seasoning.
This means by to reduce the natural sources but growing food by themselves for
consume and sell, reduce the man power for ingredients and seasoning preparing. 2.2
How to choose ingredients and seasoning, 2.3 How to choose kitchen tools, 2.4 Time for
cooking, 2.5 How to conserve food and to do the medium cook. 3. How to consume
consist of 3.1 eat raw food, 3.2 how to eat. 4. Activities after having a meal.
The 3
rd
objective is to study the factor which influence the consume changing for
Guay- Thai people which divided into 5 aspects: 1. Physical includes the reduction of
people, land possession, the immigration of settlement and the personality feature, 2.
Economic include the immigration of man power into the capital city and the place
nearby. The changed of the producing process for consuming into purchasing and start
cooperating with government organizations. People tend to eat more semi-cooked food.
They have improved their product in marketing process and convey their business
through media. 3. Society and culture include the adjustment and the way people
change their lives, marriage with other race people, reduce multifamily into small family
