ABTRACT
The Research Study of Participating to Cultural Network and Community for Cultural
Management :
a case study of Sandonta ceremony Amphoe Khukan , Sisaket province
This research has the purpose for support the implicate in work process between the Office of
Sisaket Culture Council of Cultural Affairs, Cultural Network and Community for study the condition
and function of Sandonta Culture in the community in the past, nowadays and in the future. Study the
concept to support Sandonta Culture to be strong in the future. To reinforce the community to be strong.
The representative sample are the monks , the novice, guru villagers, teachers, the leader of community,
the committee of Council of Cultural Affairs Huaynua subdistrict, the committee of Council of Cultural
Affairs Khukhun district, the representative from the governor in Khukhan district and the people. The
instrument of collect the the data is set the speech stage, interview and observation. Analyze the data
from the aspect of community context and local media by describe and interpret from the data by concept
“recognize, intimate, know how to use, know how to protect”.
Result is the Office of Sisaket, Cultural Network and Community have implicate in work
process in thinking, make decision, plan, work , follow up, and evaluate together. They pat respect in the
decision of the people in the community those are the owner of Sandonta culture that is the faith in the
ghost like the ancestor ghost the ritual value is make relationship in the family community and let’s the
people know how to take care themselves in financial. Now this culture has supported to be the culture of
Khukhan district. The set up before real ritual for 2 days. The activities that have set up will show only
some part of real ritual. But some activities have made the ritual strange such as parade contest, dessert
contest and bananas contest. In the future if the don’t focus at the value and the real ritual maybe it will
make this ritual still have only the pattern and people in next generation will not do in real function until
have lose. The research process has the speech stage and gives opinion to the people in other community
change the knowledge. Make people in the community lay emphasis in the value of ritual and look for the
concept and conserve the ritual.
