Period 3 Educational Transformation (2540-Present)
According to the Constitution of Thailand, 2540 B.C., the decentralization, the
collaboration of people and education, religion and culture are emphasized. In the National
Educational Act of 2542 B.C., it is mentioned that local curriculum should be added in the
content of education in the aspect of problem condition of community and local wisdom
knowledge society. The knowledge of art learning and research based classroom are roles
and activities for school teachers to manage in the local curriculum. The stream of research
and development of the local wisdom “Ganoptingtong Dance” has become a part of
promotion of teacher that help make the entertainment and performance of Ganoptingtong to
be interested in and seriously restored in this period of time.
