“ Mahachart” sermon ( Telling about previous incarnations of the Lord Buddha), making
“ Khanom Tom Daeng and Khao” ( a small ball desert made from white or red flour,
coconut, and sugar),etc. This work aroused the interest of restoring all folk wisdom
mentioned above. And also enhance knowledge of working staffs and elders and had
them handed down the knowledge to their children who will be the future of the
community.

Nakhonnayok Cultural Office
, The Cultural Council of Nakhonnayok Province
and the Cultural Council of Khaopra Subdistrict set up a forum to find the way to
continue the liturgy “ Soukhuankhao” and try to maintain it in prior state as much as
possible, on the base of saying that “ The owner of the culture has the right” . The liturgy
“ Soukhuankhao” is the community’s heritage so the owners of the heritage are local
residents including community leaders, monks, teachers, liturgists, youths, and every
students.
