THE CULTURAL PARTICIPATORY MANAGEMENT WITHIN
“SUKHOTHAI’S MANGKHALA” : INCASE OF KOKRAT SUB-DISTRICT
KONGKRAILAT DISTRICT SUKHOTHAI PROVINCE

The objectives of this study were to : -
(1) study the cultural participatory management within Mangkhala of Kokrat
Sub-district, Kongkrailat District, Sukhothai Province.
(2) study the model of cultural cultural participatory management within Mangkhala
of Kokrat Sub-district, Kongkrailat District, Sukhothai Province.
(3) develop the process of participatory working between The Provincial Cultural
Department and The Provincial Cultural council.
The sample was the Mangkhala of Kokrat Sub-district, Kongkrailat District,
Sukhothai Province. The instrument used for data collecting were the in-depth interview,
the interview group, the stage associates and the related paper.
The data analysis was hald by the various scholars and the experienced singers
with content analysis and manifest technique.
The research finding were as follows : -
(1) The old style of cultural participatory management of people in within
Mangkhala of Kokrat Sub-district, Kongkrailat District, Sukhothai Province was to play
both in auspicious and inauspicious occasions. The Mangkhala music was also played
everywhere. Most of the players were in the same family. It was up to the head or
owner. Any of the government sector, the community and the Locality Administrative
Organization rarely related to them.
(2) The cultural participatory management within Mangkhala of Kokrat Sub-district,
Kongkrailat District, Sukhothai Province at present is varied.
The Locality Administrative Organization, the government sector and the folk philosophers
make it important. Moreover, schools integrate Mangkhala with subjects in their learning.
Every step of management has highly participation, except the checkup that is not clear.
(3) The process of participatory working between The Provincial cultural
Department and The Provincial cultural Council can be developed by the cultural
participatory management of the scholars, the folk philosophers and the community.
